EIR has been established at Lahore Business School in order to provide entrepreneurs innovators and researchers a home to work at. Our aim is to develop new business, innovate and produce research that has an impact socially as well as economically.

About EIR

Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Research (EIR) is responsible for providing a supporting environment for new a budding entrepreneurs in order for them to promote, develop and grow their businesses.

EIR also recognises the needs of new learning techniques and places emphasis on promoting experiential learning of entrepreneurship within the Pakistani community.

EIR shall therefore support entrepreneurial learning as well as entrepreneurs in order to enable them to develop their skills, their businesses and realise their potential by nurturing startups, conducting research to advance knowledge in the policy and practice of enterprises within Pakisatan and help them develop businesses internationally.

EIR practice areas are organised into five key areas: Experiential Education, Entrepreneurship Development, Startup Incubator, Innovation and Research.

Experiential Education

Experiential learning and education is recognised worldwide as an excellent source of recognition of what is learnt in a work place.

We here at EIR develop and run entrepreneurship education programmes that fulfil this need for entrepreneurs trying to gain some sort of qualifications in order to understand and run their businesses better.

The aim of all these programmes is to cultivate the entrepreneurial mind set of students and develop in them managerial, communication, leadership and enterprising skills.

EIR qualification based on experiential learning model are recognised qualification by LBS and allow for entry to our degree programmes.

Startup Incubator (SUI)

The SUI is a holistic approach to an Incubator, where other than infrastructural support we provide academic backing, research, innovation experience, consultancy and mentorship, in order to help commercialisation of new ideas, develop and grow new businesses with the up and happening entrepreneurs of Pakistan.

Innovation is part of successful businesses that helps them develop new product, services and offerings, this service is offered as a hands on service on helping organisations and entrepreneurs innovate better.

Research

EIR conducts research on key issues into barriers to entry in entrepreneurship, development of enterprise, enterprise development models, technology entrepreneurship, engineering entrepreneurship and local industries of Pakistan.

Our aim is to understand the underlying forces and the factors that drive dynamic growth of enterprise, and identify the problems faced during this development, as well as developing benchmark standards for organisations to easily interpret and employ in their policy and procedures.
