Prospective Students

We at LBS believe in delivering learning rather than delivering lectures. Therefore we have devised a locus of quality in our teaching methodology that aims to build upon the theoratical aspects of business school courses, but more importantly transferring skills that enable a graduate to become a true professional.

Understanding theoratical aspects requires for understanding historical importance and modern development in particular areas of study. We concentrate on developing conceptual understanding of each area of business and management, from core concepts to supporting concepts of the topics at hand.

We believe strongly on developing business and management skills in our graduates and therefore design our courses and deliver them through scenario modeling, this requires for taking each topic by developing a situation where the problem be identified, understood, analysed and sured.

This allows for students to understand how particular conceptual framework and strategies can be applied in any given situation, ensuring that proper skills are developed with sharper and refined skills of problem identification, analysis and decision making.

Case studies are used to allow for students to undertand organisational problems, and how they are solved. This like scenario modeling allows for students to develop critical thinking skills and problem solving.

Our specialisations offerd to students of MBA, BBA and students studying MSc programmes are practically demonstrated and conducted. Examples of which are marketing courses, in which Advertising specialisation builing on historical perspective, to conceptial framework down to students actually developing television ads, that are part of the assessment of the course.

This allows for students to have practical knowledge of how actually things are done in industry rather than studying the concepts and theory of a particular specialisation course.

In a global business environment it is important that all students at a good business school get an international perspective when studying business and management. All our courses are designed to deliver international as well as local understand on how to operate in particular markets, strategic aspects and managerial skills.

Educational institutions should have responsibility of developing the very important soft skills. This allows students to be more socially aware, helps them in their personal lives and allows for them to take the bull by the horns. We place major emphasis on this, and develop our student's confidence, self esteem, personality, social grace, social communication, language, personal habbits, friendliness, etiquettes, problem solving.
