The University of Lahore has been established for 10 years, and we have entered a major growth and expansion stage with extensive investment in building our new campus at Defence Road, Lahore, as well as implementing the vision of the management by developing independent identities for our Faculties.

Lahore Business School (LBS) is a celebration of our success academically as well as a major investment in order to provide our students with the best possible facilities, resources and services.

As the financial head, I see LBS developing into a major business school within the next 5 years, with a much needed expansion plan in the pipeline that would see it grow in capacity and resources at the Defence Road Campus.
I aim to see our move towards establishing a business school give greater momentum to our growth. We have so far invested PKR 570 million on the Defence Road Campus, We have also allocated to LBS PKR 5 Million for the library and PKR 5 Million annually for research activities under LBS and EIR. We aim to invest during 2010 (second stage) in the region of PKR 800 Million at the new campus.

This will also see the expansion of the business school capacity to 7500 students by 2015.
