With the grace of Allah, the University of Lahore (UOL) has achieved major milestones in a short span of its existence. My dream of establishing a quality education centre has been realised. This has been an uphill task, but with dedicated efforts of our colleagues in the Ibadat Educational Trust, educationists and philanthropists, we have gained recognition and honours.

The result of which is evident with the accreditation by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. Most importantly, UOL has been ranked among the top 500 universities of the world (QS & Times Higher Education Supplement). I firmly believe that the role of universities in the 21st Century in Pakistan is being called upon to give its best because the 3rd millennium is predicted to With the grace of Allah, the University of Lahore (UOL) has achieved major milestones in a short span of its existence. My dream of establishing a quality education centre has been realised. This has been an uphill task, but with dedicated efforts of our colleagues in the Ibadat Educational Trust, educationists and philanthropists, we have gained recognition and honours.

With 10 years of UOL being celebrated this year, Lahore Business School (LBS) is our strategic move towards providing quality teaching, learning and enterprise within Pakistan that has been benchmarked against business schools internationally. LBS is envisioned to become Pakistan’s premier business school not only offering the traditional MBA and BBA, but also introducing undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate research degrees, that would develop excellent managers, administrators and future entrepreneurs.

With our highly capable team at LBS, I have no doubt that we shall be able to achieve our dream of making LBS a premier business school, and that is our vision for LBS 2015.
